Red Green Fig Placemat

The fig is a fruit of the South, generous and a little secret, ripening in the shelter of the leaves. This printed placemat red and green makes it the subject: stylised figs in deep red, set on green foliage that folds around them, in a composition at once restrained and full of appetite.
