Like every piece in the collection, it is hand block-printed on good-quality cotton, in the artisan workshops of our partners in India, where block printing is a craft handed down through generations. The gesture leaves its mark, those small variations from one impression to the next that give the fabric its breath. The Garden design is created in France, in a balance between the exuberance of the flowers and the calm of the grey.
Laid on bare wood, this runner brings colour and life to the timber while leaving it visible at either side. Over a white or natural tablecloth, it adds a strong band down the centre and structures the whole setting. It is often enough on its own to wake up a rather neutral dining room.

The cotton is hard-wearing and machine washable, it grows softer with time while keeping its colour, and it takes long dinners, birthdays and family meals in its stride. Washed at thirty degrees and ironed while still slightly damp, it keeps its shape and its brightness.

Care
General care instructions for artisan-printed cotton table linen:
- Machine wash at 30°C or 40°C maximum, on a gentle cycle, to help preserve the colours.
- Do not use bleach or whitening products.
- Avoid fabric softener, as it may dull the colours over time.
- Iron on the reverse side of the fabric at a moderate temperature (cotton/wool setting) to preserve the vibrancy of the print.
- Air dry preferably in the shade; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may cause the colours to fade.
